 I’m Bella, and I started this account in 2016 to document my passion for food. Over the years, it has evolved—from sharing restaurant reviews in San Francisco to recounting food adventures in Paris and Turin, and eventually moving back to sunny Los Angeles to embark on my personal health journey.

I believe in using food as medicine and follow Michael Pollan’s principle of only eating foods your grandmother would recognize. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disorder, I transitioned to a gluten-free and anti-inflammatory diet. My recipes focus on local, sustainable, whole foods rich in nutrients to support thyroid, gut, and overall health.
